Advisor Tankinspections

 

If you are at home in the industry and wants to work in the world of inspection robotics and drones and you feel comfortable in a young, passionate team of specialists with a multidisciplinary background, then you are the professional we are looking for!
 
You have good communication skills, you take initiative, you know what autonomous work is, you oversee your tasks and responsibilities. 
You know your business so you can advise our clients on the best solution for their inspection issues.
You have the ability to develop and deepen sustainable growth of relationships with carefully selected clients. In doing so, you help the client with their existing issues, but you also look for the question behind this need from your natural curiosity.
Through your ready knowledge, because you know what is going on in the inspection market, you can contribute to our development activities in cooperation with our multidisciplinary team.  
Your work varies from advising clients on content, supervising small inspection projects, managing and exceeding client expectations to co-writing large tenders. PR and (Social) Marketing is part of the job, as is daily customer contact and the will to win!

What are your responsibilities
- Responsible for relationship management and acquisition of inspection projects with drones and inspection robotics.
- Advise our clients on the best solutions for their inspection issues.
- Develops and deepens relationships with carefully selected client(s).
- Ensures that complex technical and/or commercial needs of the client are communicated in such a way that they can be converted into appropriate solutions.
- Supervises inspection projects, which are short cyclical in nature and usually carried out by two colleagues.  
- Writes clear quotations and participates in large tenders. Handles any complaints and monitors compliance with agreements made with clients. 
- Performs market research to gain insight into the position of Terra Inspectioneering and (competing) companies in the market and into potential clients.
- Assists in organizing and conducting product and company presentations.
- Works with the R&D team regarding updates and new applications.
- Continually improve the way we work by sharing your professional experience with colleagues and proactively identify and implement ideas to make our team perform even better and increase the overall quality of the team and our products.
 
 
What qualifications are required for the position?
HBO work and thinking level.
Well-developed safety and quality awareness. In possession of VCA-VOL.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in a commercial position is required. Experience in the process industry (oil/gas/energy/storage/chemical industry) is a plus.
Experience with online Marketing communications.
Knowledge of and/or experience with industrial drone inspections and/or ultrasonic thickness measurements is a plus.
Willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative team and its rapidly changing processes.
The ability to transfer your knowledge gained in practice to colleagues in another discipline.
Good commercial skills.
Professional interlocutor for the client at every level.
Good working knowledge of modern cloud applications.
Good command of Dutch and English in both word and writing. 
Affinity with drones and robots and passion for new technology.
Driving license.
Living in Zeeland, West-Brabant or Rotterdam region.

NDO Drone Inspector

 

If you are or want to become an Inspector who can carry out wall thickness measurements with drones and other inspection robotics and you feel comfortable in a young, passionate team of specialists with a multidisciplinary background, then you are the professional we are looking for!
You have good visual abilities, you take initiative, you know what autonomous work is, also under not everyday circumstances, you oversee your tasks and responsibilities. 
You have affinity with flying and/or building drones and knowledge of different inspection forms in order to contribute to our development activities in cooperation with our multidisciplinary team.  
Your work varies from preparing, performing and handling inspections with drones and other inspection robotics, both visual (camera) inspections and UT wall thickness measurements. Afterwards the collected data will be stored in Terra's 3D inspect cloud base software and you will check all equipment, perform minor repairs yourself and make sure the equipment is ready for the next job. Of course, you will also assist colleagues in testing the prototypes in the test, development and demo area.

What are your responsibilities
- Preparing for various types (UT, VT, etc.) of inspection projects. Preparing and checking equipment, reading up on type of inspection and customer requirements.
- Performing visual inspections and UT thickness measurements with drones, robots and in appropriate cases by hand at varying locations and sometimes under harsh conditions and different working hours.
- Performing safe and error-free flight during the project. 
- Performing 3D laser scans.
- Coordinate with team leader, client and inspector before and during project execution.
- Support the team leader in preparing inspection reports.
- Clean and maintain drones and robots including performing (minor) repairs.
- Performs last minute risk assessment and performs the work in such a way that it meets the agreed quality and safety requirements. Demonstrates impeccable behavior towards clients. You are our business card.
- Works together with the R&D team regarding updates and new applications.
- Continuously improve the way we work by sharing your professional experience with colleagues and proactively identify and implement ideas to improve our team's performance and overall quality of the team and our products.
  
Qualifications required for the position
MBO / HBO work and thinking level.
ASTN or ISO level 2 Visual and UT certified. Or willing to become so.
Experience flying drones without GPS and barometer is a plus. Otherwise, we'll teach you.
Experience with performing inspections (NDT) in an industrial environment such as the process industry and / or tank terminals.
Well-developed safety and quality awareness. In possession of VCA-VOL.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
The willingness to work in a fast and innovative team and the associated rapidly changing processes.
The ability to transfer your knowledge gained in practice to colleagues in other disciplines.
Good communication skills.
Strong service-oriented attitude.
The ability to work accurately.
Good knowledge of modern cloud applications.
Good command of Dutch and English both verbally and in writing. 
Command of German language is an advantage.
